The Role Of Pet Release Film In Die Cutting

Wuxi Shengfa protective film is a die-cutting factory for mobile phone accessories. PET separating film is one of the most basic auxiliary materials in the production process. This paper summarizes several common problems and solutions of applying PET separating film in the die-cutting process of Wuxi Shengfa protective film for insulating materials.

In die cutting process, the following problems are usually encountered:

1. After bonding the double-sided adhesive with the PET film, some of the double-sided adhesive tape will produce reverse stripping and produce unusual sound when stripping.

2, anti stripping is the material that has not been stripped off.

3. After punching and placing for a period of time, the adhesive tape and the release film can not be stripped.

4. The release force is very low, and the release layer is easy to fall off.

5, the release film will generate static electricity during the winding process and absorb dust.

For the above problems, there are usually the following solutions:

1, when the noise occurs during stripping, the first is the excessive release force, followed by the uneven coating results.

2. Reverse peeling is mainly caused by the imperfect matching of the peeling force. There are two reasons. One is that the peeling force of the same type of product varies too much because the factory inspection of the peeling film is not strict, the inspection equipment is not complete, and the production process is not stable enough. The die cutting plant used the release film which they thought was the release force because of their habits. Secondly, the weathering resistance of the release layer is not enough, and the time has changed dramatically.

3. The adhesive tape can not be peeled off, is generally the reason for uneven coating, some of the film leakage is more serious will make a part of the non-peeling effect, resulting in the adhesive tape can not peel off, the knife should be very taboo cutting this problem.

4. The greasy parting surface is mainly caused by the system of separating agent, not greasy things must be bad, in fact, some greasy parting surface coating is more uniform, the residual adhesion rate is better. But some of them are purely dense, and silicone oil is easy to fall off. These can be determined by testing.

5. Electrostatic problems, in addition to the general physical treatment, chemical treatment is permanent, the general photoelectric die-cutting factory has dust-free workshop, also have destatic equipment, the problem will not be very big. For more stringent requirements, antistatic coating can be chosen.
