Seven Steps About How To Use The Protective Films
- Jun 11, 2018 -

1, to achieve the best effect, the surface of the material must be clean and dry. It is generally recommended that the 1:1 ratio of IPA (isopropyl AlcohoI sunpropanol) is mixed with the mixture of water to clean the surface until the surface is completely dry. (Note: before using IPA, refer to the recommended precautions for this solvent).

2, the protective film is applied to the surface of the material, and the average pressure of 15psi (1.05 kg /cm2) is achieved by roller or other means (scraper).

3. Follow the way of protecting film from point to line to surface contact surface. The plastic scraper or roller is used artificially in a solid and uniform pressure to ensure that the pressure has been applied to the rubber surface to make the adhesive contact with the adhesive to avoid the air coating.

4, tearing the protective film off the paper, if in the previous step, to ensure that there is no air between the adhesive and the attached material, then the material needs to be attached to the material, and the pressure of 15psi is also applied to make it effective. If you want to remove the bubble, it is suggested to increase the pressure to limit the limit. The recommended operating condition is 15psi, 15 seconds.

5. It is suggested that the ideal construction temperature should be between 15 and 38 degrees Celsius, not less than 10 degrees centigrade.

6, in order to keep the protective film still stable when used, it is recommended to store the relative humidity of 5 (Y70) at 21 degrees Celsius.

7. It is suggested that when the protective film without substrate is applied, the cutting edge should not be contacted with the protective film again to avoid bonding.
