Oily Pressure Sensitive Adhesive for Protective Film

(1) Raw materials and formulations

(2) preparation method

In the stainless steel reactor equipped with agitator, reflux condenser, thermometer, feeding flowmeter, drip-adding device and compressor, the mixed solvent of formula quantity is added first, and the temperature is raised to 70-75 C. The Shenzhen PET protective film is weighed in another container according to the formula. After mixing, the monomer is dissolved completely by adding BPO, and 1/3 of the mixed monomer is added. In the kettle, the remaining amount is added to the high-level drip-adding device, while stirring, heating up to trace reflux, then stopping heating slightly, and reflux is continued by reaction exothermic. When the flow is gradually small, monomers are added at about 77 C. The drip acceleration and reaction temperature are controlled to prevent sudden agglomeration, keep the reflux normal, keep the reactions stable in the kettle, increase the viscosity gradually, and drip for 4-5 hours. When the reaction is finished, the temperature rises to 80-82 C. A little BPO can be added to properly drive the reaction to be complete after 1 hour. When the viscosity is stable, it is yellow viscous liquid, and the finished product A component is obtained by cooling to 40 C.

Component B is isocyanate 20% chlorobenzene solution.

Component A: Component B = 1: (0.5-O.8).

(3) performance

Oily pressure sensitive adhesives have suitable initial adhesion, peeling force and holding force. They are suitable for the production of surface protective adhesive tapes of various protected materials. They have good practical value, fast drying speed, convenient coating and meeting the performance requirements of protective film.

(2) preparation method

In the stainless steel reactor equipped with agitator, reflux condenser, thermometer, dripping device and feeding device, deionized water, emulsifier and pH regulator are added first. Shenzhen PET protective film is stirred and heated to about 75 C, then 30% of the mixed monomer is added, and the remaining monomer is added to the high dripping device. The ammonium persulfate was dissolved in water and added 20% initiator. After the reflux reaction was normal about 1H, the reflux gradually decreased, and the monomer was added and the amount of initiator was added every 15min. The emulsion polymerization was carried out smoothly at about 80 degrees Celsius. The agitation speed, reaction temperature, dripping acceleration and reaction time were controlled to prevent the aggregation. After 4 hours, the reaction was completed by adding a small amount of ammonium persulfate, and then the temperature was reduced to 50~C. The pH value was adjusted to 7.2~8.5 with ammonia water, and the reaction was completed.

(3) performance

The water-based pressure sensitive adhesive has suitable initial adhesion, peeling force and holding force. It is suitable for cattle production of surface protective adhesive tape of various protected materials. It has good practical value, fast drying speed, convenient coating and meets the performance requirements of protective film.
